Assem Abdel Fattah è docente di pittura alla Facoltà di Belle Arti all’Università di Menia. Ha conseguito il Dottorato di ricerca in pittura all’Università Helwan del Cairo nel 1993.
È maestro nella destrutturazione delle forme pur conservando un’immagine riconoscibile. È interessato ad esprimere le emozioni e gli stati profondi della mente piuttosto che il mondo fisico come ci si presenta, anelando ad una astrazione concettuale che crei uno stile neo espressionista.
Lavora con acquerelli, arte digitale, tecniche miste, e varie tecniche sperimentali che gli permettono di acquisire colori vibranti ed una spontanea espressività.
È rappresentante del movimento artistico egiziano fin dal 1979; molti suoi lavori sono presenti in collezioni in tutto il mondo (Canada, USA, UK, Germania, Olanda).
Assem Abdel Fattah is professor at the Painting Department of the Faculty of Fine Arts at Menia University. He has got a PH.D in Painting at Fine Arts College, Helwan University, Cairo Egypt in 1993.
He has become a master in deconstructing shapes and forms while keeping an image recognizable to the viewer. He is interested in expressing emotions and inner states of mind rather than the physical world as it looks like, tending towards a conceptual abstraction forming neo expressionism style
He works with watercolor, digital art and mixed media, using a wide range of experimental techniques to achieve vibrant colours and a spontaneous expression.
He is an active player in the Egyptian art movement since 1979; many of his works are in private and corporate collections in various locations around the world (Canada, USA, UK, Germany and Holland).
